Butetown Pavilion Industry Nights
On Thursday 30th November, Butetown Youth Club had its second Digital Industry Night focussing on Coding and Engineering.
Over 45 young people attended the event with 100% of them stating that they either Enjoyed or Really Enjoyed the event.

The 'What's Next? Cardiff' platform is a digital space that centralises the local offer of Education, Employment and Training (EET) for young people aged 16-24 in Cardiff.
For partners: Tap into our network of young people aged 16-24, and their supporting networks, to promote opportunities within your organisation for free! Please send us any provision or opportunities you have an we will promote on your behalf.
For Schools: A thrilling, innovative platform is now available for both students and staff to delve into the array of educational, employment, and training options in the local area. It also provides pathways for acquiring skills and qualifications for the city's most sought-after growth sector jobs.

Youth Support Service Events
Our 4th event of the 2023/2024 Youth Support Series was hosted by Adferiad. Post-16 colleagues heard from Adferiad’s Michael Harvey who talked about the range of programmes available to help young people with positive mental wellbeing, resilience and developing confidence.

Passport to the City, ensuring young people from all backgrounds can enjoy the world-class amenities Cardiff has to offer to develop a sense of pride of where they belong.
For partners: Advertise universal offerings aimed at children & young people and their families for FREE. Work with us to structure bespoke experiences and opportunities for the city’s most vulnerable groups.
For Schools: Passport to the City facilitate AoLE linked experiences with partners across the city. We support families, young people and some of the most vulnerable groups to access sporting and cultural events within the capital.

Learners from Bryn y Deryn and Plasmawr had an inspiring Q&A session with director of Netflix’s Heartstopper, Euros Lyn. They also had the privileged opportunity of critiquing the Youth Shortlist for the International Iris Prize and chose the Youth Award winner - LGBTQ+ football short “Realness with a Twist”.
RWCMD delivered amazing performances to St Cuthberts at the Norwegian Church. This is the start of a great partnership with the school and venue.
Expressive Arts leads from across the city were invited to hear about the launch of the Curriculum Team portal, to hear about funding opportunities from Arts Council Wales and some hands on taster sessions of the larger opportunities to collaborate with EA partners in the coming year.
